Bill served in A Sqd 1964/1969.The following email explains the photos.

The ones I call tank park are all of A Sqn sometime in the mid 60's (as are all the pics)

I am in the 3 middle ones from top to bottom as well as centre left.  the one at bottom right is I think Titch Lord who has a recent pic on your website.

The ones called Lothian Barracks are all self explanatory although 3 of them are I seem to remember of a strange ceremony where a new CO was pulled around the camp - or is my memory playing tricks?

The ones entitled broken down tanks are taken on exercise on Soltau and Brilon although centre right is another one taken in the tank park - the person is a lad called Sam Podmore if my memory serves me right.

The photo bottom left is taken in A Sqn bar - I am in the white shirt.  John Shirley is on the right.  I have made contact with John purely as a result of your website and hope to be meeting him soon.
